Excursion to Thuringia to the origins of the Wertheim glass industry

Last Saturday, a bus trip took interested citizens from Wertheim to Thuringia. The aim of the trip was to learn about the historical beginnings of the Wertheim glass industry.

The visit to the first production facility of Walter Graf u. Co. was very interesting for us. The traditional building has been preserved to this day and houses a restaurant, just as it did in 1923. In the basement, 15 employees produced the first glass syringes in 1923.

Despite the sometimes very rainy weather, the tour group was enthusiastic about the many impressions.
